Easy tracking of your shipment – receive parcels with GLS Spain

Receive your parcel in a fast and safe way. With GLS Spain, domestic shipments are delivered in approximately 24 working hours, depending on the volume of shipments and the time of year.

Thanks to the shipment tracking system, you can stay up-to-date with where your parcel is at any time. All information regarding the latter is on our “Shipment Tracking” page. If you are not at home at the time of delivery, you can choose from a number of alternative options, such as delivery to one of our ParcelShop GLS convenience points.

Our Customer Service

We have a Customer Service team responsible for managing the queries we receive from recipients. You can contact us by phone, through one of our forms, or through social networks. This service is free of charge and is available from Monday to Sunday from 9am – 7pm. If you have a query outside these hours, please write to us and we will respond to you during our normal opening hours.

Delivery authorisation

If you are unable to receive a parcel at your home address, you can request delivery to a collection point in our GLS ParcelShop network. If you are also unable to pick it up during opening hours, you can fill in an authorisation for someone else to pick it up for you. Along with the authorisation, the person picking up the parcel for you must present their National ID (DNI-NIE) document at the time of collection.

Change delivery options

When you receive notification of the shipment through GLS, you can choose the delivery options available according to the service contracted by the sender. Among them, you can request collection at one of our more than 3,500 collection points or at the GLS agency responsible for delivery. Take advantage of their long opening hours to pick up your parcels.

Tracking shipments

I was not at home, how can I receive my parcel?

If the delivery person does not find you at home, they will ask a neighbour to receive the parcel on your behalf. If this reception is not possible, we will take the parcel to the ParcelShop closest to your home so that you can pick it up during the 10 working days following the day of delivery. If delivery to the neighbour or collection point is not possible, the delivery person will make a second delivery attempt.

In addition, the delivery person will leave you a note of passage with the information of your shipment. In this passage note, you will find the GLS tracking number for tracking.
