GLS Spain launches new website

  • It is part of the company’s digitalisation strategy.
  • Updating to meet users’ needs

Madrid, 31 May 2021. The international parcel and express service provider GLS Spain launches its new website as part of its commitment to innovation, continuous improvement in terms of digitalisation of the company and closer communication with its customers. The new website features an improved and easy-to-navigate structure, designed to meet the needs of its users.

GLS Spain presents its new website with a completely renewed design and image that allows the user to access all the content more easily. The new mouse-over function makes it possible to scroll through the different categories from the main menu and display all content. This provides direct access, for example, to the different types of shipments for companies (B2B) as opposed to shipments for private individuals (B2C or C2C) and the respective services with which they are combined.

The content has been updated to include new sections that respond to the company’s new vision, in which issues such as sustainability, quality and people play a major role, and where the customer is clearly placed at the centre of the company’s activity.

Now, the sustainability section has greater visibility. Not only will it be possible to consult the company’s reports and certifications on quality and environment, but also every information regarding the actions and collaborations that GLS Spain carries out in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Another relevant aspect is the new locator for agencies, the company’s own centres, its ParcelShops and lockers (GLS convenience points and automatic lockers), thanks to which routes can be geolocated digitally.

The “Career” section has also been revamped. There, GLS Spain will publish the available vacancies, in addition to providing information about working at GLS. Users will be able to apply for the offered positions directly through a link.

On the other hand, the “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ) section has been restructured and updated so that users can find answers to their queries quickly and directly. In addition to the “Customers” and “Recipients” sections, which already existed, the “ParcelShops” section has been added to answer questions from the point of view of retailers for private customers.

“At GLS Spain we continue to work on innovation and continuous improvement. Our goal is that anyone interested in getting to know us can find all the information in a quick and easy way, in just a few clicks”, says Mireia Ruzafa, Marketing and Communication Director of GLS Spain.

With the new design, the company hopes to increase the number of visits, the time spent on the site and to answer all possible questions that the user may have while browsing through the page.
